Vermont | Level 1 Trauma Center with Diverse Surgical Cases
Position Overview:
Seeking a CRNA for a locum assignment in an advanced anesthesia department. This opportunity offers flexible scheduling at a leading teaching hospital.
Assignment Details:
- Location: Vermont
- Start Date: January 6, 2025
- End Date: September 30, 2025
- Schedule:
- Four 10-hour days or three 12/13-hour days per week.
- Shift options: 7 AM–5 PM or 7 AM–7/8 PM.
- No on-call hours.
Responsibilities:
- Perform anesthesia services for a variety of cases, including general, GYN, ENT, vascular, robotic, urology, ortho, plastics, neuro, GI, IR, endoscopy, EP, MRI, ophthalmology, and dental.
- Required procedures: General, MAC, regional (spinals), arterial lines.
- Work in a collaborative ACT model, typically supervising at a 1:2 or occasionally 1:3 ratio.
Requirements:
- Certifications: NBCRNA, BLS, ACLS, PALS.
- Board Status: Must be certified.
- Respectful and supportive of a collegial environment with a diverse team.
Additional Information:
- No clinic responsibilities; this is an OR-focused role.
- Support staff includes anesthesia techs and surgical residents.
