Gastroenterology Locum Opportunity in PA
Pennsylvania | Hospital-Based Coverage | Level I Trauma Center
Position Overview:
One of our top clients is urgently seeking Gastroenterology coverage at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. This role involves inpatient rounds, consults, and GI procedures on scheduled weeks, with several coverage dates available through 2025.
Responsibilities:
- GI Lab hours Monday-Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM
- On-call hours from 5 PM to 5 PM
- 5-10 inpatient consults per day, with PA support Monday-Friday
- Weekend rounds and consults on assigned weekends (4 hours per day onsite)
- Perform EGDs, Colonoscopies, EGD with Dilatations, PEG placement and changes, and other standard GI procedures
Requirements:
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
- Active PA license or IMLC with LOQ in hand
- Recent inpatient/consultative experience with at least 100 patients in the past 12 months or completion of residency/fellowship within the last 12 months
- ERCP privileges preferred (experience with at least 40 therapeutic ERCPs, 10 sphincterotomies, and 10 stent placements in the last 12 months)
