Position Overview:
Seeking Board-Certified/Eligible Emergency Medicine Physicians for an ongoing locum assignment at two hospital locations in northeast Ohio. Physicians must be willing to work at both sites and will be part of a well-supported emergency medicine team.
Assignment Details:
- Location: Ohio
- Start Date: ASAP
- Length: Ongoing
- Minimum Shifts: Open availability; 2 full-time positions need to be filled
- Shift Times:
- 6 AM–2:30 PM, 2 PM–11 PM, 10 PM–6 AM
- Trauma Level:
- One facility is Level III Trauma
- The second site does not have a trauma designation
- EMR: Epic
Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency medical care across two hospital locations.
- Supervise APPs and work collaboratively in a high-volume ER setting.
- Manage 2.2 patients per hour, including APP-supervised cases.
- Work with a full range of specialty backup services, including Ortho, GS, ENT, Ophthalmology, Neuro, OB/GYN, Plastics, GI, Vascular, CT Surgery, and Urology.
Requirements:
- Board Certification: ABEM/AOBEM (Certified or Eligible).
- Residency Training: Emergency Medicine.
- Certifications: ACLS, PALS, NIHSS Stroke Certification.
- Licensure: Active Ohio license preferred; IMLC candidates may be considered.
- Credentialing:
- Standard timeline: ~60 days.
- Expedited privileges available for clean files (subject to site director approval).
